With the New Year already here, how many of you have actually took the time to set your short and long term goals for success?

Don’t Wing It.

If you have not done so already, I would like to challenge you to sit down and think about what you want to accomplish for your short term goals (weekly, monthly and quarterly) then of course your long term goals for this year, even three to five years out!

Be Realistic.

Don’t set goals that you know are going to set you up for failure if you are not going to do them. Rather, set goals that will push you a little further than you have done in the past.

Visualize Your Future.

One thing that’s fun to do is to create an image board. This board should help you visualize your lifestyle by the goals you set for yourself as well as the things you desire and places that you would love go. Once completed, place this image board in front of where you work. It’s a constant reminder and really helps you put things into motion for the things you want out of life.

Set Your Schedule.

Truly a wonderful way to start your day. It may take a bit of effort at first however, if this is your first time trust me it will really help keep you focused on target with your daily and weekly goals and so fourth.

Tip: You actually have to have your schedule written out from morning to the end of day and in front of you every single day. If you fall short, just pick up where you left off and finish it first thing the next day. Keep following your schedule so that you have met your goals for the day, week etc.

And yes, you can also pencil in mini-breaks throughout your day to rejuvenate, clear your mind, refocus, grab a healthy snack and a short workout or jog. This should be no more than an hour out of your day total.

Challenge Yourself.

Only perform money-making activities. This does not mean reading e-mails in general, replying to friends and jumping on Social Media to pass your day. You can move those later afterwards after your day has ended.

For example: Unless it has to do with calling a client and setting an appointment or if you’re messaging a potential prospect about an opportunity that will actually lead to making money.

I think you get the point. 🙂

Feel free to share your thoughts and let me know in the comments below if your up for the challenge or if you have already set your goals this year.
