Throughout The Masked Singer seasons, there have been some very recognizable faces. However, some contestants are more notable than others.

Since The Masked Singer premiered in 2019, a slew of celebrities have competed on the show, but some are more well known than others. The Masked Singer season 8 has taken on a new format, and it seems like the most exciting one yet. With theme nights, two eliminations per episode, and more contestants than before, there are sure to be some world-famous celebrities on the stage. Fans were underwhelmed by The Masked Singer season 7 and felt the contestants weren't as notable as in prior seasons. Some of the lesser-known contestants included Duff Goldman, who performed as McTerrier.

Judges Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger tend to guess big-name celebrities that are very unlikely to be on The Masked Singer. For example, last season, Ken guessed actor Al Pacino and superstar Taylor Swift as potential celebrities. Masked Singer's Nicole, who sold her LA home, guessed singer Olivia Rodrigo, who was touring the country when the season aired and would have been too busy rehearsing to filming. The Masked Singer fans have called them out for this countless times.

While someone as famous as the "All Too Well" singer might not be on The Masked Singer, that doesn't mean the performers aren't recognizable. The Masked Singer season 7 saw reggae singer Shaggy, who is popular for his 2000s hits "Angel" and "It Wasn't Me," was behind the Space Bunny costume. Some other famous faces were politicians Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani, but fans hope, in the future, The Masked Singer steers away from politicians and stick to celebrities.

NSYNC is one of the most successful groups of the late 90s. While Justin Timberlake may be the most well-known member, anyone who was a teen in the 90s could name every member of the band. Certainly, no one was confused when Rabbit took his mask off to reveal he was NSYNC member Joey Fatone.

When panelists first saw Alien step on stage, they thought it was Kendall Jenner or Kourtney Kardashian. Turns out, it was a member of a different famous family. While LaToya Jackson was not a member of The Jackson 5, being the elder sister to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, she did become a household name. No one was disappointed to see this famous face on The Masked Singer season 1 stage.

Donny Osmond rose to fame in The Osmonds around the same time as The Jackson 5 and was the Justin Bieber of the 70s. By the time the singer finished as runner-up, no one doubted the 70s teen heartthrob was behind the sparkly Peacock costume. He came in second place on The Masked Singer season 1 after T-Pain.

The singer is known for his own music as well as penning songs for Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson. He even helped rapper Drake acquire Jackson's vocals for a track on his album.

While Kim Kardashian and her famous sisters haven't made their way onto The Masked Singer yet, Caitlyn Jenner has as the Phoneix. After a successful track career, Caitlyn married Kris Jenner and skyrocketed to new levels of fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. With a stepdaughter worth over a billion dollars, it's hard not to know who Caitlyn is.

Fans have debated who the most famous The Masked Singer contestant is, and many agree Kermit The Frog on The Masked Singer takes the title. No one expected the green Muppet to pop out of the Snail costume during his elimination, but it made sense why his voice sounded so familiar.
