7. Stripe (Payments)

Stripe is a subscription payment service that helps small businesses to get paid for their products and services. With Stripe, you can accept credit cards from any device directly on your site or mobile app with just one integration. Stripe is one of the most popular payment gateways around.

If you’re just starting out as a small business owner, Stripe can be an easier way to take payments online than opening up your own merchant account with PayPal or Square and getting that $49 monthly subscription fee for each device you use to accept credit cards. You do not need to pass the credit card information of your customers to Stripe, which means you don’t have additional security concerns.
